20% of your final grade.
You will be graded based on your in-class participation, including discussions about lecture topics and peer editing. If the class seems disconnected and/or disinterested during lectures, an impromptu quiz based on the readings may be given and will count against your class participation grade. You will be assigned a peer editor for the semester, and failure to adequately edit your partner’s module assignments will count toward your participation grade. It’s critical that all students grade honestly and accurately. Grades for class participation are given to students who give and receive peer evaluations.
